On the way home after work tonight, I was thinking about what my post should be about; what recipe should I post….briefly I thought I can do a quick shout out to the pasta with garlic. I wasn't sure what I was going to write about.
My drive from my job is rather quick, compare to other commuters; twenty minutes the most. The radio is on and I get to listen to my favorite radio station out of Fordham University, a public supported station that plays an array of genres. Therefore, my mind drifts from one song to the next, although tonight I was thinking about posting on my blog. That is until I pulled into our driveway and headed inside. Hubby was getting dinner ready, the kids came to say hello and give me hugs, Teddy was jumping on me and wanted a goodie, the dining room table was being used for a project that Nick and James were working on. Nick is speaking, telling me something, and Amelia wanted another hug. I was thinking about dinner and making a salad. Hectic? Not really, more like controlled chaos.
Tonight’s dinner was Oven Fried Drumsticks (chicken legs) accompanied by a tomato and cucumber salad with garlic, and an oil and vinegar dressing…At this point, I can tell you about how delicious and easy the chicken legs were; but then again, I will save that for another time, because I’d rather share with you a little surprise while I made the salad. I love it when inspiration shows up...it's so awesome!
